Password reset and user account recovery

Forgot the password to your Sonarworks Account? This guide provides tips on how to restore access to your user account.

Password reset

If you have forgotten the password for your Sonarworks Account, you can reset it:

  1. Go to the Sonarworks Account Login page
  2. Click on Forgot your password?
  3. Enter the email address registered with your Sonarworks Account and click on Send Link
  4. Follow the password reset link sent to your email


Note: If the password reset email is not delivered, the account doesn't exist. Either a different email address was used for the account, or the account was never created. Having purchased and activated older Sonarworks products in the past (Reference 3 or 4) doesn't create a user account automatically.

User account recovery

If you no longer have access to the email address used to register the account, try restoring access to it. If email access recovery is not possible, you'll need to contact the Sonarworks Support team by submitting a request below, and including the following information:

  1. Full name
  2. Email address associated with the Sonarworks Account
  3. New email address that you wish to proceed with
  4. Product details associated with your account (activation keys, order numbers, invoices, billing details)


Note: If you are using multiple email addresses and are unsure which one was used with your Sonarworks Account, include all email addresses you've used in the past.


If you have deleted your Sonarworks Account, it is not possible to recover deleted accounts. You can create a new account with the same email address on our Sign up page
