[MAC] How to uninstall SoundID VoiceAI

Uninstall SoundID VoiceAI from your computer - plugins, software data, and more. Follow the steps provided below to completely remove the software from your device.

In this article:

Removing the SoundID VoiceAI plugins

SoundID VoiceAI will install 3 different plugin formats: AU, AAX, and VST3. These are all located in the Audio/Plugins directory and can be deleted manually by navigating to the locations shown below:

Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/SoundIDVoiceAI.component
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/SoundIDVoiceAI.aaxplugin
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/SoundIDVoiceAI.vst3

Deleting the SoundID VoiceAI folder (settings and audio files)

SoundID VoiceAI also stores files such as log files, settings data, and generated audio tracks. This data is stored in the Sonarworks folder and can be deleted by navigating to the directory shown below.

Keep in mind that deleting the SoundID VoiceAI folder will delete any generated audio tracks you have created with the plugin. If you're not using any other Sonarworks products, you can remove the Sonarworks folder too.

Note: The User/Library directory is hidden by default. Use the Cmd + Shift + . (dot) keyboard command to reveal hidden items in Finder, or see detailed instructions here: How to show hidden files on Mac and Windows

Removing the SoundID VoiceAI licensing service files

In order to activate your SoundID VoiceAI plugin, we use a licensing service which is installed on your device. Find it in the location mentioned below.
